Time Line
Saturday, December 10th
Very important -- downwind (long course) racers please note...
- You MUST check in, make your payment, and attend the 10AM prerace meeting, at the Oak Harbor Marina finish line.
- We will have a bag check available so you can leave warm clothes at the finish line.
- It's a 35+ minute drive from the marina to the downwind starting line so please check in and make your payment before the 9:30AM meeting
Time line (subject to change; stay tuned):
- 8AM A race volunteer arrives at Hidden Beach and will remain there to watch your boats if you wish to leave them there before heading to the prerace meeting. We encourage carpooling back to the start after the meeting.
- 9AM Check-in and registration begins at Oak Harbor Marina. We will have bag check available for those leaving their cars at Hidden Beach.
- 9:15AM Safety Boaters' meeting to review plans and coverage
- 9:30AM Long Course Downwind Racer Meeting
- 10:15AM Short Course racers' meeting
- 10:45AM at Hidden Beach -- Ernie Wong hosts long course final meeting
- 11AM Short Course race start - in front of OH Marina
- 11AM Downwind race start - Hidden Beach
- 2PM Following the race, please join us at the Oak Harbor Marina for awards and hot chowder!
